The Lesbian, Gay, Bi-Sexual, and Transgender (LBGT) elderly community faces barriers and inequalities when accessing health care. With increased awareness and education, advanced practice nurses across all settings have opportunities to positively impact health and provide culturally competent care for this community. This session addresses the unique needs of this population.
