353 - CPT Coding

This session reviews payment patterns relevant to nursing home services and practical implications. Procedural codes, codes with modifiers, coding for care by nurse practitioners, and day-of-death codes will be discussed. Case studies and vignettes are used as examples to lead participants through determination of codes based on modifiers and procedures.
