This workshop focuses on important areas of medication safety for the older adult, including new drug updates for 2019 and 2020, black box warnings and risk evaluation and mitigation strategies (REMS), the latest evidence on medications in the treatment of COVID-19, and statin and proton pump inhibitor use.
