OD02 - CBD and THC Use and Indications in the Gerontological Population

This session discusses THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) and CBD (cannabidiol) products, summarizes the evidence surrounding THC and CBD uses in the gerontological population, and applies appropriate treatment plans incorporating THC and CBD products.

I did not know much about CBD before this talk. I am now more knowledgable about THC and CBD, their by-products, the relationship between them, and professional use in the geriatric population.

THC and CBD are fairly popular among my patients with rheumatoid/osteoarthrits, polymyalgia, intractable migraine and neuropathy syndrome.... but also largely as a sleep hypnotic with some good results.
