342 - Using mHealth to Create Innovative Care Solutions for Older Adults

This session reviews the process undertaken to develop a mobile app solution to transform the communication between long-term care health care providers and family caregivers by leveraging the expertise of both health care providers and technology experts to create a technology solution. The presenters discuss their collaboration in a “hacking health” hack-a-thon that brought together technology creators and health care professionals to develop a practical technology based, patient-centric solution to a widespread problem.
