Gain evidence-based tools to prescribe opioids for chronic and terminally ill patients, learn how to manage complex cases of pain, and discuss current prescribing guidelines that are recommended by the FDA and AAHPM. Discuss the benefits vs. the burden of commonly prescribed opioids and how to use appropriately.
