This session addresses the evaluation and management of pulmonary hypertension as a unique disease state in the older adult population. Discussion includes the difference between pulmonary arterial hypertension and pulmonary hypertension from secondary causes, appropriate diagnostic tests to work up pulmonary hypertension, and the principles of pharmacologic treatment of pulmonary hypertension and associated challenges.
