This pharmacology-based workshop uses case-based examples to address information about new drugs that have come out in the last 12 to 18 months that are specific to older adults. Discussion also reviews infor mation on prescribing cascades, inducers, and inhibitors of the CYP 450 system as it relates to geriatric pre scribing.
