Discuss the evaluation and management of the growing elderly population diagnosed with hypertension. There are controversies in HTN management and the speaker addresses use of the evidence to manage hypertension in this population. The focus is on prevention of cardiovascular risk and potential co-morbidities and identification of co-morbidities that may alter pharmacological management strategies.
