101 - Conscientious Prescribing in Older Adults

An older adult may be prescribed more than eight medications per day. Polypharmacy and agerelated changes increase risk for adverse events. Information is provided regarding safe prescribing strategies and monitoring of medications in older adults. Deprescribing is also addressed.
