Patients with dementia can suffer from behavior issues that cause distress to themselves and caregivers. Severe symptoms often do not respond to behavioral interventions. This session provides an overview of dementia-related behaviors that may be targets for pharmacological intervention and an evidence-based medication algorithm pertinent in a primary care setting.
