For nurse practitioners to learn what matters, they need to understand the complexities of having different conversations with older adults. Members of the GAPNA Hospice and Palliative Care Special Interest Group present cases across the continuum of healthcare to illustrate how NPs conduct these conversations. Cases illustrate how resources from the Hospice and Palliative Care Nurse Association and the Center to Advance Palliative Care contribute to evidence-based practice.
