The APRN specialty certification in gerontology – the APRN gerontological specialist-certified (GS-C) – distinguishes APRNs who possess expert knowledge, experience, and skill in managing the complex needs of older adults. This session focuses on reviewing material covered on the certification examination. Teaching strategies include presentations, case studies, and interactive discussion based on the 12 proficiencies for the APRN gerontological specialist.

Requirements for Successful Completion:

Complete the learning activity in its entirety and complete the online nursing continuing professional development evaluation. You will be able to print your nursing continuing professional development (NCPD) certificate at any time after you complete the evaluation.
